Lens Installation Guide

Before You Start

Replacing your sunglass lenses is usually quick and easy. Most customers can install their new Sublime Optics lenses in just a few minutes from the comfort of home.

We recommend working on a clean, soft surface to avoid scratching your frames or lenses.

Helpful tip: Wash your hands first to avoid fingerprints and smudges.

Step 1: Remove the Old Lenses

Hold your sunglasses firmly with both hands.

• Apply gentle pressure from the back of the lens pushing outward.
• Most lenses will pop out with steady, firm pressure.
• Some frames may feel tighter than others — patience is key.

Avoid using excessive force or sharp tools.

Step 2: Prepare Your Frames

Before installing your new lenses:

• Clean your frames thoroughly.
• Remove dust, dirt or old debris from the lens groove.
• Inspect for cracks or frame damage.

A clean frame helps ensure the best fit.

Step 3: Install Your New Sublime Optics Lenses

Align the replacement lens into the frame groove.

• Insert one edge of the lens first.
• Use gentle pressure around the edges.
• Press firmly until the lens clicks or snaps securely into place.

Repeat for the second lens.

Step 4: Final Check

Once installed:

• Check both lenses sit securely in the frame.
• Ensure there are no gaps around the edges.
• Give your lenses a quick clean with a microfiber cloth.
